What is Psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy takes place when a therapist uses a range of talking techniques to help improve a client’s sense of well-being. The goal of psychotherapy is to replace problematic behaviours with positive ones. Psychotherapy focuses on mental health, aiming to resolve negative or troublesome behaviours, thoughts or emotions. Mindfulness is a method of mental training which allows for self-observation without criticism. Practicing mindfulness allows you to identify and eliminate negative thought patterns while enabling greater levels of compassion and respect for yourself.

Our approach

Mindfulness is a very simple form of meditation. With Caroline’s guidance, you will learn how to meditate on your thoughts as they arise in your mind and identify any sources of anxiety or stress. Instead of struggling with these thoughts, mindfulness can help you see things in a more positive light.
